How do you ensure purity?
Filtration Process:
- Refining - Removal of all major contaminants.
- Esterification - Breaking down the fish oil into individual fatty acid components for processing.
- Concentration - Molecular Distillation is used to separate EPA & DHA. This process is performed under a very high vacuum, (Oxygen free environment). Molecular distillation is chosen because of its rapid process, minimising any thermal degradation of the oil.
- Winterization - Removal of the saturated oil content.
- Deodorization - A final steam distillation step is used to remove odorous components from the fish oil.
- Filtration - A polishing step is then used to absorb colorant material and other minute contaminants.
- Drumming - The oil is stored in air-tight, nitrogen-purged drums.

I've purchased this product once or twice previously, no issue with flavour or size.
However, my most recent purchase a few months ago in Jan 2024 had an issue. I only opened the bottle (early August 2024) and almost all the capsules were clumped together in a giant mass. I suspect there was an issue with the sealing, so the bottle wasn't tightly sealed or something or maybe it got too hot. Anyway I sent an email to the company, they asked for some photos and I offered to send it back to them. They agreed and sent me out a replacement.Obviously, a supplement is an aid and not a substit, and whenever possible you should sunbathe in moderation and eat foods rich in omega 3. But as a help, and head off, I attest that it's going very well.This has a high concentration of DHA and EPA, which together make up the "Omega-3" oils. I take two of these per day, and store it in the freezer. When I take these pills, I almost never get a "fish burp." When I do get a small fish burp, it doesn't taste like rancid, rotten fish. It tastes like good fish, which is a huge improvement over the cheap stuff. I strongly recommend this.Very good.
